little bit of hope

it's been awhile. nothing special going on. nothing not so special going on.

i've been planting and knitting and generally hanging out with the toby. it's been rainy and cold and generally not nice to be outside. though that's where toby is right now, outside. playing football. in the rain. you know he'll be happy when he gets home.

soon, soon it will be summer. a summer minus the sound of rain, but full of warm with a gentle breeze days. days where you sit outside in the park and enjoy a cold bottle of beer. or three ice cream cones.


anyway, here are a few of my new little accomplishments

wales is beautiful. well, i can really only say north wales in the snowdonia region is beautiful because that's the only bit of wales i've been too...but i bet you'd find some nice bits in south wales too.

we stayed a little bit outside of ffestinog. thank goodness because ffestinog...well, there's a lot of slate and a lot of children (and people in general) with not a lot to do.

toby's finished his fixed gear bike! i think he likes it. who am i kidding? he loves the thing!!


and me? my pretty bike is complete now too. it's WITH basket. i love the thing too. but mainly, i love it for its prettiness...i don't so much like riding it. toby's on the lookout for some cheap frames to make me a bike that's a bit more practical to ride. sadly, we might sell this one. sad, sad.



we went to wales over the weekend...i've got some pictures up (not all) on flickr. i'll work on putting some up here tomorrows or something.
