the london eye

along with big ben and buckingham palace, the london eye is one of the ultra touristy places. that being said, toby didn't want to go and spend the money and i was slightly reluctant to throw myself in with the masses and tourist it up. but i still wanted to go just once to say i did. so, the two of us decided that the next time my mom came to visit, we'd get around to it.

well, my mom hasn't been able to visit yet BUT we did get a trip on the london eye a few weekends back.

last year toby won a free private pod on the london eye! even with a free ticket, it took us an entire year (it expired at the end of feb so we HAD to go). what an AMAZING clear blue day we had. if i had to complain (which i always do) it was almost too sunny to take pictures! you really could see for miles and miles though. from wembly arena to crystal palace and everything in between.
