i'm home sick today. i'm very bored and tired, but can't sleep. the mucus won't let me.
so, i'm watching tv. right now, the news in london is about helen mirren and the oscars, the cumbria train crash, and something about cows and milk. i'm not really sure what that one is about. i don't know where the remote is to turn it up. maybe we shouldn't drink milk anymore.....i don't know.
there is a school nearby where we live. the kids are out for a recess break or something. they are running around and hitting each other with sticks. the wind is carrying their loud voices to my flat. just a lot of children screaming. the window is also showing that it is a very cloudy, windy day. it looks cold.
it looks cold, but it is kind of springy over here. the daffodils are up all over town. it's a cheerful thought.

I had no idea you are from Janesville - I have an Aunt who lives there and I've been there many times.
yep, born and raised. it wasn't a horrible place, but i could never, ever live there all the time.
the daffodils! i'll always remember london full of daffodils. sigh.
